Description


SerialWare Basic can connect to up to 14 serial devices (through the COM ports of the computer). This solution is ideal for small Home Emtertainment setups, connecting to a flat screen TV and switching between the various inputs (HDMI, PC, etc.).

 

It is also commonly use for basic smart classroom setups to automatically turn the projector on and off, picture mute, and switch between doc cam, laptop, tablet, and desktop.

Description


SerialWare Advanced is limited to only your imagination. Connect a PC to many RS232 serial devices using simple USB-Serial adapters. Each button can be customized with its own image and text. In addition, for each button, you can configure multiple actions (up to 5). Each action defines the COM port and code(s) to send.

 

For example, you can create a single button which turns on 2 different projectors and selects the computer as input source of the first projector and the doc cam as the source of the second.

 

For home entertainment systems, you can configure your own buttons to control each and every device. Thus, you can have buttons to turn the DVD player on/off, TV on/off, control volume, and switch between devices using an HDMI switch.

 

You can even develop multiple control panels and hook them all together to control anything that accepts rs232 (serial) input!

SerialWarePro is designed for multi-user control envirnments. You can have an unlimited number of client controllers connected to the server controller.

 

The other huge advantage of Pro is the web interface, which allows you to deploy Control Panels to any device, including iOS, Mac, and Android.
